Highgate Offers Respite Stays
Sometimes people come to stay at Highgate on a temporary basis, which can range anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. For these Respite Stay residents, we offer fully furnished suites, three made-from-scratch meals a day, housekeeping and laundry services, personalized care, medication assistance, and a host of stimulating and therapeutic activities – all for one low daily rate, based on individual needs.
For Caregivers and Those Who Need Care
Maybe someone you know has been released from the hospital but continues to require special attention. We can provide that. Maybe you’ve been caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia on a constant basis and need a break to replenish your own strength. We’re here for you. Maybe you’re caring for a senior loved one, but must be gone for a vacation or business trip. We can help. Or, maybe you just want to give Highgate a try. We welcome that, too.
Respite Stays are offered at The Manor, our Assisted Living community, and The Cottage, our Memory Care community. In The Manor, residents are supported in living as independently as possible and encouraged to stay mentally, physically and socially engaged. In The Cottage, we offer assistance with all aspects of daily living along with personalized care by a specially trained team in a secure, enriching community.
