Choices for Senior Living
With a wonderful view of Mount Hood, Highgate Vancouver is a Senior Living Community tucked into a residential neighborhood but conveniently located to parks, walking paths, shopping, pharmacy, movie theatres, churches, doctors and clinics. Our van is available for scheduled outings or needed transportation
The 'Manor' at Highgate Vancouver is a smaller apartment community and because of the cozy size it is easier to move about the building for meals and activities and to meet and interact with other residents.
Residents have a choice of a spacious studio, alcove, one bedroom, or two bedroom apartment complete with kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave and a 3 piece bathroom with a large walk-in shower. You are free to furnish and decorate your new apartment as you wish and small pets are welcome so your new surroundings will immediately feel like home.
 For those who want completely independent living, but access to the services and amenities of The Manor, our beautiful two bedroom Retirement Villa Duplex Homes are located conveniently but separately on the Highgate property.
We provide a continuum of care that can accommodate changing needs of a resident:
- Independent living in a separate Villa Duplex Home gives peace of mind that help is only seconds away in an emergency
- Assisted living for those needing help with activities of daily living and limited nursing services
- Enhanced Care for the Senior needing full assistance and support
- Our early stage Memory Care Program gives peace of mind that your loved one will receive loving attention and reassurance. while remaining in Assisted Living
- Our secure Memory Care Cottage provides that needed personalized support and security as memory declines.
Activities designed for all Interests
 If you love gardening but find it hard on your back, our waist-high planters in our gardeners courtyard may be just the answer. Youll love the full kitchen in the Activity Room. Its perfect for entertaining family and friends with plenty of comfortable seating for family potlucks and birthdays. Even an oven for baking cookies with those special grandchildren. In addition to the programs and events offered at Highgate, we are close to the Luepke Center which offers many senior related programs including fitness, dancing, swimming, luncheons, and crafts. From impromptu sing-a-longs at our Grand Piano to a trip down memory lane with a new found friend, there is always something interesting to do at Highgate. For a more sedate and peaceful activity, try our beautifully appointed library lounge. Just lean back in a comfortable wing chair and enjoy the large print books that Highgate provides by a variety of good authors. Of course you can always pamper yourself in the lovely Highgate Beauty/Barber Shop or just relax and lose those aches and pains in the whirlpool tub. There are plenty of comfortable conversation lounge areas scattered throughout the building such as our wicker sunroom. Whatever your choice, we want you to relax, indulge, and enjoy. After all, you are at home!
